Aetas Residence - Bangkok

My stay at this incredible hotel was mind-blowingly awesome! The 1 bedroom apartment I booked was super spacious with jaw-dropping amenities and an unbelievably comfortable bed. It had all the perks of a hotel - housekeeping, concierge, 24-hour reception, a fantastic cafe, a pool. Talk about convenience! The location was great, with 7Eleven and loads of fabulous restaurants just down the street. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was my second time staying here and the Japanese-born manager, who goes by the name "Yankee," was absolutely exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and had stunning views from the 16th floor. The shower was a winner, with great water pressure and unlimited hot water. Breakfast was a feast, with eggs cooked to order, soups, salads, and even a cheese platter with blue cheese! And the coffee? Oh boy. The pool was amazing too, although I didn't get to use it as much as I wanted. this hotel is truly excellent and I can't wait to come back for my third visit next year. I highly recommend it!

The AETAS Residence had a delightful surprise for me - free Wi-Fi! How thoughtful. The gym and pool were so deserted, I felt like I had my own private fitness center. The reception even managed to give me a big smile.

Who needs good lighting in a hotel room anyway? It was quite romantic walking around in the dark, bumping into things.

A new 5-star place opened only in 2011. Very modern, rooms decor very nice. Shuttle to Skytrain bts Ploenchit available. Close to Nana with all the Shopping and Nightlife of Sukhumvit. All facilities like Pool, Gym etc. top! Could live here for months. Introduction rates very affordable. Book 3 nights, get free breakfast.

I stayed in the Aetas Residence for 7 nights, good staff ,clean and very good location.

The location of this hotel is ideal for those who want to be close to the Patpong night market and have easy access to the Sky Train. the rooms are spacious and come equipped with washing machines, making it a great option for longer stays. the breakfast is delicious and offers a mix of Western and Asian cuisine.

Some staff members can be unhelpful and unpleasant towards guests, which can dampen the overall experience.

The bathroom cleaning could be better. I was there for 4 nights, and the toiletries were not replenished since the first day.

Excellent central location, close to shopping and transportation. Spacious room with a well-equipped kitchenette. Friendly and helpful staff. Good room service food.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. the hotel is very value for money. It's very clean and comfortable, with excellent buffet breakfast. it is easy access to BTS, with the complimentary tuk tuk service at the time of your need. will definitely return when I am in BKK again!

It's good to stay in this hotel if you like to be away from nana area and it's ner the shopping mall.

The room

Our stay at the hotel was excellent value for money with spacious and comfortable rooms. The location was convenient, close to the embassy we needed to visit and near the Skytrain station. The staff at the hotel were friendly and provided great advice for exploring the area.

Breakfast option could be improved with more variety of pastries.

I like the location in prime real estate area and close to the embassies, other luxury hotels and shopping malls. I like the 5 star grade furnishings and bathroom but mostly the comfortable beds. I like the fully equipped kitchens, washing machine and ironing board etc for when I have been travelling extensively and need to put on big loads of laundry, otherwise I use the hotel laundry service.

Some of the rooms need maintenance, be sure to check and make sure you are given one in suitable condition. 95% of the staff are excellent, the odd ones require further training and better attitude but this is Bangkok after all... I stay here 3 or 4 days a month and it is the only place I stay in Bangkok. Enjoy your stay!

I feel like home every time when I stay there. Staffs are so friendly. Room make me feel like home, and in the centre of Bkk.
